About Us
Deborah and Andrew Parkinson are based in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand. We both worked for a number of years in ANZ Bank head office in Wellington.
Deborah assists small businesses with their day to day administration work. For some she's the Office Manager for others she's called on to help out when they are busy in the office or staff are away.
Andrew runs a financial planning business (Bay Financial Partners Ltd ) and does occassional one off IT and Finance consulting projects.
We've seen lots of different people do things in lots of different ways. Sometimes we can show people simple tricks and tips that make their life easier. Often by using software on their computer they already own.
We like helping people to work smarter not harder. It's great helping people streamline what they do to free up time for more productive or fun actvities.
We've worked together on projects that require both our skills but most jobs only require one of us. We charge by the job. First we talk to people about what they need. Then we decide whether we think we can help them and whether we want to work with them and then if they want to work with us we agree a price.
We've done a number of "reconcilation" jobs together where either the accountant or the business owners has realised that the accounting side of things has got out of hand and help is needed. With our banking backgrounds and experience with a number of different sytems we are able to sort out the bank accounts, put in place a simple system that suits the owners needs and then helped get in and sort it out.
